Aspen Ladd's fight sport experience began at 14 years old. As well as BJJ classes, she also trained in boxing, wrestling and kickboxing. At age 18, Ladd made her debut as an amateur at WCFC. Aspen ended her fight via an KO (3rd round) (elbows as well as punches). Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie stopped Ladd's winning streak within 16 seconds. After a short break, she returned to finish Yana Kunizkaya during the UFC's ESPN 7 third-round fight. She faced Norma Dumont as a substitute during her final fight against the UFC at UFC Fight Night 195. She was defeated by a unanimous decision.
